Software Developer focused on Web and Database applications

Who am I?

I am a Software Developer with a primary focus on PHP application development, ETL processes, as well as a growing interest in Dev/SysOps. I graduated from the University of Scranton with a B.S. in Neuroscience in 2013, and again in 2019 with an M.S. in Software Engineering.

I realized I had a passion for Computer Science, in particular web dev and database systems, and added a Computer Science minor in my senior year. Professionally I started as a PHP and Java dev using Postgresql and *nix systems, and have some experience as an MSSQL DBA. Recently I have been taking my time out of work to learn more about Sys/DevOps and cloud operations, as well as Chemistry and Biology.

Besides software development I enjoy many other hobbies. I love fishing and hunting, skiing in the colder months, and I am a terrible but persistent golfer. I also enjoy playing tuba and upright bass as well as brewing my own beer.
